As we gear up for our next location, I pause to look back at our time in South Florida this year.

We had so much fun hosting this year’s Camp Host Gathering held each Saturday at our site.

During our Camp Hosting we came upon artists taking in this beautiful park we call home.

The animals in Easterlin Park come in all shapes and sizes. Sadly, in late December we lost the mom (Sofia) and dad (Jeffrey) Chinese geese. I believe it was an attack by a dog on the loose or possibly a coyote, as one was spotted in the Park this season. Jeffrey had been a resident of Easterlin Park for the past 15 years. They are survived by their single offspring, which Mary named JJ (Jeffrey Junior). They will always be in our hearts.

As with any home or auto, upkeep is necessary. This year I repaired the rear of the RV after a large tree in Helen GA jumped out while I was backing up. During our final drive to South Florida we had an emergency stop for an engine pulley that went bad. I also resealed our roof. All-in-all a lot was accomplished!

Spending time with friends and family is always a top priority when we are in town.

Thanks for stopping by. Next stop: Bahia Honda State Park in Big Pine Key, Florida Keys!
