Our next stop – Tallahassee area. We stayed in a great park that our friend there suggested. It was very nice (and small which is good). We had dinner with our friends and did some touristy things.
We also checked out a lighthouse in the area… it was really nice.
Next stop Gainesville and a visit with our daughter! Went into town for dinner and walking back came across a concert in the park (like we have here!). It was a Beatles cover band and they were excellent!!!
Then it was on to Titusville at Manatee Hammock Cove. Beautiful spot across the river from the Kennedy Space Center – you can see launches from there. Chris had a lot of work to do so we didn’t do too much here. I made use of their pool and laundry facilities haha…we got up to see a sunrise since we were so close to the river but it was a bit too cloudy, oh well.
We did drive over to the Kennedy Space Center one evening just to check it out but we didn’t go in.

Our last stop was Melbourne where we joined up with some more friends and explored the down town area. We had a great time!
